Graphic Design

Art direction and design for identities, packaging, print media, exhibitions, and websites. I value design that builds memorable brands and makes content accessible.

Raincoast Books

Raincoast Books is Canada's premier book wholesaler and distributor. Founded in 1979, they swiftly deliver over 20,000 titles to over 2,500 bookstores and specialty retailers across Canada. The new logo pays homage to their brand legacy (an umbrella) and is inspired by the numerous connection points that are core to Raincoast's logistics-oriented business.

Logos & Lettering

Various logos and lettering projects for government agencies, arts organisations, content creators, jewellery designers, distillers, music festivals, and coffee shops.

Platform Gallery

I co-founded an initiative to provide Vancouver's design community an opportunity to exhibit work in spaces usually reserved for public art. Two exhibitions were organized around civic themes (By Any Other Name: alternate names for Vancouver; Intersections: prominent locations throughout Vancouver). Each exhibition, six designers were invited to contribute a poster in response to the theme. The exhibitions were held in Vancouver's Waterfront Station Canada Line Platform.

Henderson Dry Goods

Henderson Dry Goods is the work of Alex Henderson, a Vancouver product designer. Known for her wood engraved jewellery and accessories, Alex has a worldwide following for her handcrafted objects. I developed the brand concept and designed the logo, packaging and website.

Kooshoo is a producer of organic yoga accessories. The brand evolved from the name Kooshoo, a South Pacific word that translates to "Feeling Good". The flora of Norfolk Island—where the founders call home—provided the inspiration for illustrations created by Tracy Walker. The project included art direction, identity design and packaging design.

Sled Island

Calgary's Sled Island Music & Arts Festival is a sprawling three-day festival with 200 bands across 30 venues. I worked with the festival to develop their brand and establish art direction, colour standards and illustrations that were intended to evolve each year.
